Abstract EN

We read "Al-Hatay'a" in the twenty-first century to anticipate steadfast forces in our Arab heritage, in order to reexamine the problems of existence, awareness, conscience and memory, and to renew the questions of plurality, difference, overlap and recognition.

This reading is based on "cultural analysis" to explore the genealogy of a multiple and overlapping poetic discourse.

The purpose is to build an "acceptable story" in which poetry and storytelling combine in order to adhere to human issues, and to combat forms of negation and marginalization.

In order to establish a critical orientation based on culture, it calls for these vital interactions between the text and its cultural context, and between the structures of beauty and the manifestations of solid reality...The scientific quest is the investigation of a set of axioms and inherited judgments about “poet and poetry” that were much deeper than what is being promoted around them, as “cultural analysis” provides us with a set of mechanisms and procedures supported by the power of history, culture and criticism to highlight those binaries that fueled the poetry of “Al-Hutay’a”, a strong, educated person An original, distinguished poet.
