Narrative discourse has been of great importance in contemporary literary studies which laid the general foundations for the analysis of its components, structures and manifestations.

In their approach to this discourse, scholars have been divided in two main streams: those interested in the linguistic narrative with its compositional and relational levels among the narrative elements, and those interested in the semantic narrative that revolves around the deep structures that make up the narrative discourse in order to define its fundamental bases and functions.

In our approach to a model from the Tunisian narrative literature, we will deal with this discourse as a whole artistic structure with its intellectual and semantic dimensions.

Stories are no longer mere narratives, but dense moments and narrative flows that form an organic unity which combines its various components.

This could achieve a form of harmony and complementarity of the text bodies through a set of interactions and internal relationships between the partial structures that make up the overall structure of the text from an imaginative perspective and within a narrative process and an aesthetic conception that crystallizes through their dialectical relationship with the semantic dimension.
