Abstract EN

This article aims at approaching the reality of Anthropological studies in Arabic Societies, and this reality reflects the depth of the crisis that surrounds the scientific productions in Humanities.

As a starting point of this paper, the article defines Anthropology as a science, highlights its nature and reveals the importance of its branches.

Then, talking about the relationship between "Study of humans" and the other sciences.

Through these entries, we are going to extract the reasons lying behind the crisis facing the Anthropological studies and research in the Arabic societies.

We notice the institutional censorship, West dependency obssesion, the distance from the logic of the scientific spirit, sanctification of mythical interpretations and the dominance of societal ideologies.

All of these obstacles contributed to the removal of the aspect of creativity that Anthropology aims at.

Thus, we, as Arab Societies, claim our right to establish a scientific edifice in Anthropology in which we reveal our reality, interpret our cultures and looking forward to establishing our future.
