Abstract EN

This research article examines the problem of self-writing in the book Araq el rouh by Lebanese writer Yumna Al-Eid in terms of the genre of writing and the identity of the subject being narrated.

It is first interested in the aspects of the fictionalization of the self in this text and the mechanisms adopted therein, focusing on three basic mechanisms of fictionalization, namely the mechanism of the literary genre, the mechanism pronoun play and the question mechanism.

At a second level, the article looks at the image of the narrated subject and the degree of the contribution of the reference material to its formation, the characteristics of the self and the degree of participation of fictional components in its construction.
