The Idiosyncrasies of the Arab experience and their Implications on the Other.

The public spheres have thought it important and necessary to raise issues of general concern and weave a consistent public opinion, namely during the transitional phases that the Arab Muslim societies have gone through since the outbreak of the Arab Spring revolutions.

The paper focused on the presence of the religious dimension in the public sphere and concluded that generally the actants in that space had employed only the formal and occasional aspects of religion and religiosity as well as the predominance of the speech of atonement or deceit in exchange for an atrophy of rational criticism.

Given that, the presence of religion in the Arab public sphere was losing the spiritual side and even deepening the wounds of Arab societies.
