Abstract EN

The purpose of this study, which its subject is the formal renewal of Al Mihjar poets (applying the poetry of the Al Qalam Association ,)is to shed a light on the aspects that the researcher sees still need to be further clarified and explained in relation to this phenomenon of poetic work.

The first chapter is made as an introduction to the constitution of the association and its outstanding poets.

the second chapter dealt with the concept of novelty and renewal, and explained the difference between novelty and modernity, which its concept is overlapped by many.

In the third chapter, I dealt with what it stood for the manifestations of renewal phenomenon received by the North Mihjarians, and then showed what was the extension of the previous renewal transformation, and their original renewal.

I used the inductive trajectory approach, and the analytical approach in my work.

The most important results of the research are: The Tafeela poetry is the legitimate son of the mihjarians, and that Nassib Oraida is the first poet who wrote this new type of poetry before Nazik Al-Malaika and Badr ShakerAl Sayab.

The poets of the association created what is known as the prose poem by Mikhail Naima; thus they placed a seed of what was later known as the poetry of modernity.
