Abstract EN

The current study sought to identify the mediating role of perceived organizational support in the relationship between the practice of authentic leadership behavior among secondary school leaders in Jeddah Governorate and the level and behavior of organizational citizenship among teachers, and the study sample consisted of (437) teachers, who were chosen by the stratified random method.

To achieve the study objectives, the study relied on the descriptive approach, with its two kinds: survey and correlative.

In addition, three tools were used for data collection.

The results of the study showed that the level of practice of authentic leadership behavior by high school leaders in Jeddah governorate from the teachers' point of view came to a large degree, and that the level of organizational citizenship behavior among teachers came to a large degree.

The results revealed that there is a positive and statistically significant correlation at the level (0.01) between the degree of practicing the authentic leadership behavior among secondary school leaders and the level of organizational citizenship behavior among teachers.

The results of the study indicated that the perceived organizational support partially mediates the relationship between authentic leadership behavior and organizational citizenship behavior.
