In the course of this discussion, we have dealt with the electoral process with substantive and procedural guarantees provided by the legislature, not the first of which is the clearing of electoral rolls and voter registration, not the end of the electoral process.

The legislature in the Kingdom of Bahrain has taken the approach of approving judicial oversight of the civil chamber of the Supreme Court of Appeal over the registration of the voters’ register, oversight of the voting, the counting and the announcement of results, and making the Court of Cassation the basis for challenging the validity of membership.

Political rights and freedoms are an integral part of public rights and freedoms that are indispensable to individuals.

The Bahraini judiciary plays a prominent role in protecting political rights and freedoms.
