Solitons and other solutions are revealed for the Lakshmanan-Porsezian-Daniel model in birefringent fibers with the aid of the new sub-ODE method.
The prosidure reveal dark and bright soliton solutions, periodic, rational, Weierstrass and Jacobian elliptic function solutions.
