Abstract EN

The study aimed to reveal the degree of enhancing the Omani curricula with twenty-first century skills in the light of the vision (Oman, 2040) from the point of view of teachers.

to achieve the objectives of the study, the two researchers used the analytical descriptive approach, using a questionnaire consisting of (34) phrases distributed on three main axes, which were applied to the study sample consisting of (161) male and female teachers, who were selected using the simple random method.

and to answer the questions of the study, the arithmetic means, standard deviations, one-way variance test and the Scheffe test were used.

the results of the study concluded that the Omani curricula have been enhanced with twenty-first century skills to a large extent.

life and vocational skills ranked first, followed by education and innovation skills, then information and technology media skills.

the results also indicated that there were statistically significant differences in the degree of enhancing the Omani curricula with twenty-first century skills on the variable of specialization between applied sciences, humanities and individual subjects, in favor of humanities subjects and individual skills.

while it confirmed that, there were no statistically significant differences on the stage variable.

the study recommended the necessity of developing the curricula of applied science subjects to keep pace with the skills of the twenty-first century, and to enhance them with the skills of the twenty-first century, in order to achieve integration between the academic subjects to help students face the challenges of life and assume social responsibility.
