Abstract EN

The current research aimed to develop the skills of using digital geography applications, and the vocational aspiration among the secondary geography teachers stage through a proposed program in light of the requirements of the fourth industrial revolution.

the semi-experimental approach was followed with a pre-post design one group.

the research sample consisted of (15) geography teachers at the secondary stage in the west Tanta educational administration in Gharbia governorate.

the research instruments were also represented in : an exam for the cognitive side of the skills of using digital geographic applications, an observation list for the performance side of the skills, and a measure of the vocational aspiration.

the results of the research revealed that there are statistically significant differences between the mean scores of geography teachers at the secondary stage in the pre and post applications in each of the cognitive side test of the skills of using digital geographic applications, as well as in the observation card of the performance side of the skills in favor of the post application.

the results also revealed that there were differences between the mean scores of the research sample in the pre and post applications in the vocational aspiration scale in favor of the post application.

thus, the proposed program is effective in developing the skills of using digital geography applications in teaching geography for secondary school geography teachers, as well as their vocational aspiration.
