Abstract EN

Libva is one of the countries with the most solar energy Sun energv engineers evaluate daily monthly and vearlv data on solar irradiance to identifv the best location for these devices to increase their power output.

These models have a wide range of applications.

including adaptabilitv to certain surfaces.

the need for specialized measuring equipment.

and scope limits.

Hourlv outputs predicted bv available models are compared with field measurements of the given place to determine the most suited model for a specific location.

Hourlv terrestrial radiation: direct beam.

diffuse.

and global solar radiation for a horizontal surface are modeled and computed in this studv using dailv observed data.

In addition.

for sloped surfaces.

the same characteristics were simulated.

The majoritv of the characteristics modeled in this studv are part of the input data required bv software for constructing thermal modeling and solar energv svstems.

The author's show and analvses significant changes in solar radiation on slanted surfaces as a function of time and direction.

Some of the results are in good agreement with measured data from other sources.

The impact of tilt angle and orientation on incident solar radiation fluxes.

as well as the best surface tilt angles and orientations for maximal solar radiation collecting in the Derna City are discussed.

Because of the fitting parameters.

the coefficient of determination.

and the mean bias error.

the results provided in this studv are verv beneficial for fast estimate of solar radiation.
