This paper aims to define the nature of the physical world in the philosophy of contemporary science.

it deals with the philosophical repercussions and the great changes in scientific ideas led by contemporary physical theories.

the crisis of classical physics and its limits in its perception of physical reality was initially addressed.

as a result of this crisis, it was born physical theories in the twentieth century gave new concepts and perceptions that increased our understanding of the nature of the physical world.

this epistemological perception had important scientific, philosophical and metaphysical results whose repercussions are still to this day.
