This study aims to investigate the challenges faced by cognitive linguistics in the field of teaching languages, especially the teaching of conceptual metaphor.

indeed, the latter showed its effectiveness in embodying the cognitive sayings.

this study will highlight the efforts made and developed in order to facilitate its awareness, with a presentation of the cognitive mechanisms used in the methods of learning and teaching, which focused mainly on revealing the relationship of thought to language with an explanation of the mechanism of its operation.

this study leads to the fact that the efforts made have brought about a qualitative leap in the field of teaching languages, as they refuted the classic conception of metaphor, and established a new experimental proposal that was widely polarized thanks to the efficacy of its innovative mechanisms.

it is very closely related to the lives of individuals in its conscious and unconscious sides, and translated into it.
