This article discusses a remarkable phenomenon in Arab heritage, represented in the movement of the founding of scientific geography (astronomical, mathematical and descriptive geography) and the history of the transfer of its terms and concepts to the texts of the travel literature, where we note in our Arab heritage a great knowledge interaction between scientific geography and texts of literature.

the terminology founded by Arab astronomical and mathematics geography, contributed to the formulation of the most important aesthetic sensitivities and the stylistic and structural values of Arabic travel literature.
