Abstract EN

This paper investigates the effect of tilt angle on the amount of radiation absorbed by solar panels using Liu and Jordan model in the Libyan city of Al-Bayda.

Furthermore, the results of this study are compared to the results of a three-month experiment.

The maximum total radiation was attained at the horizontally PV surface in the study city in the summer and almost sixty in the winter.

In the months of July and August, there is a 100 difference in tilt angle when compared to the experimental tilt angle.

As a result, the study shows that changing the angle of tilt has a clear effect on the radiation absorbed and thus power generated by the solar panels.
