We estimated the water flow and head of El-Beida in order to choose the best turbine type for the project.
Finally, using the hydroelectric equation, the researchers determined the amount of electricity generated.
Furthermore, this power produces about 50,000 watts of electricity, which is used to power El-Beida.
The power source can also be used to illuminate or operate fans and other treatment plant equipment (energy self-sufficiency).
In other words, the system will be able to minimize El-reliance Beida's on fossil fuels and greenhouse gas emissions
