Abstract EN
In last few years domestic reverse osmosis (RO) desalination unit becomes available in Libya and other countries market with reasonable price for a citizen with an average income.
This allows citizen to buy and install domestic RO desalination unit even if the tab water has appropriate property.
Thus, the main objectives of using the RO unite is to obtain better water quality and taste.
RO desalination technology rejects big amount of salty water, which is usually wasted through sewerage network.
Despite the advantages of RO desalination technique, including, the quality of permit water and low power consumption, the amount of rejected water could be disadvantage in area with limited source of groundwater.
This paper studies the recycle of the rejected water by mixing it with feed water.
The result shows that 100 % of rejected water was recycled without any effect on the treated or pure water.
