Abstract EN
The numerical parameter identification should follow a test on a priori possibility of their estimation by the chosen external measurements.
This test is referred to as the solution of the problem of structural identifiability, as it is related only to the model structure.
The solution of this test determines which and/or how many parameters of the used model can be estimated by means of the chosen input-output experiment.
In this work, the relationship between the observability, controllability, and structural identifiability of two steady-state induction machine models, namely the T-model and the inverse T-model is investigated.
The obtained results show that, it is neither sufficient nor necessary to consider the controllability and observability of the induction machine model if only structural identifiability is of interest.
If the system is controllable and observable, there is no any guarantee that the estimated parameters are uniquely identifiable and vice versa.
