Abstract EN

The study has aimed to identify the most common types of bullying among secondary school students in the Saudi Arabia, to identify the prevalence of bullying behavior among the students in the light of some variables and to determine the differences in the level of bullying among students due to classroom, academic achievement, family income and family size.

The study applied the Scale of bullying which was developed by Al-Hajji and Al-Omran (2018) in the Saudi community.

The sample was (328) students.

The results showed that the most common types of bullying among students were verbal bullying, followed by social bullying, then digital bullying, and at last is the physical bullying.

The results showed that the prevalence of bullying behavior among high school students in the Saudi Arabia was (23.2% ).

The results also showed that there are statistically significant differences (α= 0.05) in the degree of prevalence of bullying among students due to the following variables: the level of classroom for the favor of 11th grade, academic achievement for the favor of low achievement students, family income for the favor of low-income, family size for the favor of students whose have family size (7 individuals or more).
