The aim of the current research is to reveal the effect of a typical interaction of adaptive navigation (showing / hiding links) according to the cognitive style (dependence / independent) in the electronic learning environment on developing educational game design skills among preparatory school students, and the descriptive, analytical approach was used, and the quasi-experimental approach, The research steps also included selecting a sample consisting of (60) male and female students from the first year of preparatory school at the Joint Preparatory School of Nasiriyah Joint Preparatory School in East Zagazig, Sharkia Governorate, and they were divided into four experimental groups of (15) students, the first group: students with a cognitive style (Dependence) and provides them with a navigation pattern (hide links), and the second group: students with a cognitive style (dependence) and provides them with a navigation pattern (showing links), and the third group: students with a cognitive style (independent) and provides them with a navigation pattern (hide links), And the fourth group: students with a cognitive style (independent) and presented to them a navigation pattern (showing links), and the results showed that there is no statistically significant difference at the level of (0.05) between the mean scores of the experimental groups for research in both the development of the cognitive aspect and the skill aspect and The quality of producing electronic games for preparatory school students.
