Abstract EN

The study aimed to explore modern medical technologies and their impact on sexual transformations and the position of Islam towards them, defining modern medical technologies and an Islamic perspective of technological advances.

In addition, the study attempts to identify the Islamic legality of new medical issues along with the difference between sex change and its correction, elucidating the concept of sexual transformation, its triggers, the impact of medical technologies on sexual transformation and the position of Islam from all such developments.

The study revealed sexual transformation based on technological advancement is prohibited and unlawful in Islam.

It was concluded that there was a need for holding conferences and forums of relevance to collaborative joint work of both medical practitioners and Islamic Law scholars in matters pertaining to medicine association with new technologies.

The study also recommended tha those suffering from sexual disorders should be treated from a human point of view as patients, as their condition differs in form and subject matter from homosexuality.
