Abstract EN

The research aims to study the impact of Arabic language sciences in understanding the hadith of the Prophet, and applying it in the hadiths mentioned in the way of prostration.

The research is divided into two sections, preceded by an introduction and followed by a conclusion.

The first section deals with prostration in the Holy Quran and the Arabic language.

It has been further divided into two claims: 1.

what has been mentioned in the way of prostration in the Holy Qur’an and its implications.

2.

what appears in the Arabic language from these texts.

As for the second section, it deals with the opinions of Hadith scholars and jurists on the way of prostration.

The research concludes that the prohibition related to the way of prostration is not whether to land on the knees or on the hands.

The research’s findings are: the jurists were wiser in dealing with the issue of prostration, initiative and submission are the basis for the perfect prostration, and finally prostration has been associated with falling down because falling shows the optimal way of prostration; hence, Arabic language sciences can help in solving some doctrinal problems.
