Higher education institutions around the world have begun to chart a serious path towards a digital future, whose main goal is digital literacy and the development of technical skills, and given that online learning has become an integral part of the educational process, universities had to search for more effective ways to engage students through virtual spaces in smart learning environments, and the employment of modern technical methods in university education in line with international standards for accreditation and quality assurance.

therefore, the academic leadership of universities must think about improving the digital knowledge of their students in order to develop graduates who are able to compete in modern labor markets, which are characterized by an environment that is higher it has digital consumption, along with digital production, which pushes employers to search for employees with a wealth of digital skills.
