Abstract EN

The university faces many challenges in applying e-learning.

this study aims to identify and arrange these challenges, after extracting the criteria used from relevant previous studies, where several interviews were conducted with experts to determine the most important ones and their relative importance.

the results show that challenges such as insufficient information and communication technology and e-learning infrastructure, internet access problems, multiple operating systems, lack of interaction between students and faculty, broadband internet access, ICT skills for professors, lack of software quality assurance processes, technical support for users are the top challenges for implementing e-learning.

the results also revealed that these challenges can be classified into three main dimensions: administrative, technological, and academic challenges.
