Abstract EN

Succession of verbs formulas is one of the linguistic phenomenon in which Qur'anic readings abound.

however, one verse is read in two different formulas in many instances.

either, it is read in terms of time change, or in the transitivity and the intransitivity, or in the passive or active voice.

this difference in the Qur'anic readings has a great impact on determining the meaning of verses in the Holy Qur'an.

what is the meaning intended from the different structures of verbs in the Qur'anic discourse ? this paper research aims at identifying the role which the different structures play in Quranic readings, in addition to the extent of each formula impact in directing the meaning.

the multiplication of meanings in one verse is one of the purposes of the variation between the readings, each reading complements the other in meaning, complements it in the statement and the miracle.
