The aim of the research is to show types of sports in Islamic history by mentioning some examples by touching on different Islamic eras in the intermediate period, trying to find out the purpose of Islam's interest in sports, and mentioning the most important sports that existed in the era of the messenger, may god bless him and grant him peace, and the era of the caliphs, may god be pleased with them, and then in the eras of the Umayyad and Abbasid states.
