This study shed a light on the act of speech in the book of “ihkam sa'naat alkalam” by Ibnabd al-Ghafoor al-Kula'ii over the concept, types and function that led us to use on our research the present deliberative lesson.

which is in fact, a re-reading of our critical heritage and its comparison of a deliberative approach to reveal a deliberative dimension in establishing a critical theory of Arab prose.

as well as, by investing the concept of "act of speech" in reading our critical heritage, and appreciating the efforts of its scholars, and enriching this heritage by coupling the efforts of our predecessors with the perception provided by modernist linguistic studies of this concept.
