Abstract EN

In the context of tackling the Covid-19 pandemic repercussions, and limiting its effects in all fields and sectors, Morocco adopted an approach based on rapid, and proactive approach along with the evolution of the epidemiological situation.

regarding education and training, necessary preventive and educational measures imposed by the current evolution of the pandemic have been taken.

in this context, and with the difficulty of in-person learning, and in order to ensure the educational service continuity, distance learning formula was adopted in education and training sectors, as a preventive measure to reduce the pandemic repercussions among learners and teachers.

in addition, distance learning has been legally framed, by defining its conditions, and modalities of its providing to learners in public and private institutions of education, formation, school, professional and university training.

accordingly, this study seeks to answer the following main problem : to what degree did the measures, including legal procedures, adopted by Morocco contribute to the effective application of the distance learning formula as a complement of in-person learning ? the study concluded that despite of the efforts made by Morocco to adopt distance learning, its effective application requires finding ways to reduce constraints, and challenges that may face this type of learning.
