This paper aims at discussing and studying the development of the reliance on the blockchain technology as a mechanism to regulate the domains of the basic financial and banking industry in the light of the development of the financial technology.

findings show that the technology of the blockchain contributes greatly to the development of the financial and banking industry in providing the basic services thanks to the advantages of access to the markets in a more comprehensive, secure, and safer ways with the least costs.

furthermore, the facts of the reliance on it show clearly the development of its levels in many of the central banks in various banking domains mainly the sector of payments.

furthermore, we must point that the central banks show the will to move towards the adoption of the technology of the blockchain in the near future in the basic banking sectors.
