Abstract EN

This study aims to identify the role of the negotiation in crisis management at the national corporation for electricity and gas distribution “Sonelgaz” branch of Ouargla.

to achieve the objectives of this study, we relied on a questionnaire designed as a tool for data collection, it was distributed to a simple random sample of 60 individuals from the total officials of the institution under study.

the statistical package for social sciences (SPSS) version 26 was used to analyze the data, and the interview and observation method was used in the exploratory study and in the interpretation of the results obtained.

this study reached several results, the most important of which is that the Sonelgaz foundation is an organization that practices organizational learning par excellence, as it learns from its previous experiences; Sonelgaz also has an integrated and effective crisis management system; and that there is a statistically significant effect of the dimensions of the independent variable (the stage of starting the first session, and the stage of the negotiation process) on the dependent variable (crisis management).
