The picture taken by smartphones camera is a critical technological turning point in the new relationship between the user “self” and technology.
it is a clear sign of the detailed shifts in the way we perceive the world around us under the dominance of mobile technology, considering that “smart partner” has changed our positions in the social interaction climate on the one hand and in our relationship with time on the other.
to understand the study further away from the standard view, we will attempt to conduct a field study on a random sample of young people using social media that will answer the following main question : what are the contexts for producing and sharing personal pictures on social media among Algerian youth ?
