Abstract EN

This study aims to identify remote insurance as a mechanism followed by insurance companies active in the Algerian market to adapt to the Corona pandemic on the one hand, and to keep pace with the technological developments imposed on them on the other hand.

Where these companies used several tools to make this mechanism successful, including creating electronic platforms and electronic payment.

Despite all the measures taken by insurance companies to avoid losses from the repercussions of the Corona pandemic, their turnover witnessed a significant decline in the year 2020.
