This study aimed to shed light on the most important concepts related to digital transformation and the Industry (4.

0), and to know the importance of this transformation for small business in the Arab countries, by conducting a sectoral analysis for them to determine which sectors are first to digital transformation, based on a selected set of criteria.

The study concluded that the Arab countries, during the digital transformation, must focus on five basic sectors: the financial services sector, the industrial sector, the health sector, the wholesale and retail trade sector, and the education sector, which are the first sectors to support their digital transformation due to the low conversion costs and high returns, And its ability to support social development by increasing employment rates, in addition to its potential positive effects on other sectors.
