Abstract EN

This study focuses on the security impacts of the smuggling and trafficking of narcotics and psychotropic substances on Algeria.

it covers all of its aspects, ranging from the sources, types of narcotics and psychotropic substances available in Algeria to its smuggling routes and distribution networks, to its effects on both national and societal security in Algeria.

the study concludes that the volume of smuggling, trafficking and distribution of narcotics have been remarkably affecting the Algerian society and stability in recent years, a fact that needs to be handled effectively and efficiently in order to contain the multifaceted effects.
