If it is important to subject international commercial contracts to special principles and rules aimed at liberating international trade from national restrictions, such as the parties' freedom to choose the law that applies to their contract, it is difficult to apply this principle to international consumption contracts that are characterized by an imbalance in the legal positions of their parties.

And the presence of a weak party in it is the consumer.

Therefore, legislation in various countries intervened to find ways to protect this consumer from the abuse of the other party.

This protection ranged from excluding the application of management law in some countries and restricting it in others.
