The current study aims to know the use of social networking sites to improve the lives of children and defend their rights in Algeria.

through an analytical and descriptive study of a sample of pages specialized in the field of child protection from specialized bodies and associations.

the study attempts to answer the following problem : what are the manifestations of child protection through the digital space ? how do national bodies and associations use the social networking site Facebook to promote childhood and combat violence ? the study reached the most important results : the use of Facebook in order to introduce the activities and achievements, the goal of the media was more than the goal of influencing and sensitizing children's rights, and the Facebook pages did not focus on addressing and interacting with the virtual audience directly.
