Privatization is an economic phenomenon that has received great controversy from researchers and writers, even among countries.

Many seminars and scientific conferences were held that discussed the problem of privatization from several aspects.

However, there is almost a consensus that the goal of privatization is to improve the performance of organizations that were the target of privatization.

The methods of applying privatization varied according to the circumstances of business organizations and the countries in which it was implemented.

Some countries succeeded in achieving their goal of privatization, and others stumbled.

In Yemen, the privatization of the public sector began after the 1994 war.

Because the industrial sector is concentrated in the south (the former People's Democratic Republic of Yemen), in the governorate of Aden, a large number of factories have been subjected to the privatization process.

However, the manner in which the privatization process was carried out did not improve the performance of the factories that were subject to privatization as much as those factories were liquidated in a manner that led to them being the legal personality of those factories.

And dispose of its assets in ways that are not related to the minimum standards of rational privatization
