Abstract EN

Information plays an important and essential role in the entity of any institution, organization or administration.

This role appears through the services and advantages it provides within the system in which it evolves and the environment in which it operates.

In this context, this study came to shed light on hospitals' libraries and archives and their role in performing tasks and making decisions.

The problematic of the study was to know the quality and nature of these services at the level of hospitals, and then to identify the characteristics and advantages of each type of document and the relationships between them.

Where it appears that information services in general and libraries and archives in particular through what they provide for all the evolved decision makers and an important strategic resource and added value in the performance of tasks and decision- making mainly in the midst of emergences and crises and in a public and sensitive case in the study model that we have.
