Abstract EN

This study aims to reveal the isotopic and its various semiotic and aesthetic dimensions in the poem of Labid Ibn Rabiaa, and to uncover the poet’s perception towards existence such as life and death.

the paper contains two parts: theoretical and practical chapters.

the former is allocated to defining key concepts.

in the latter, we analysed the syntactic, semantic, and phonetic elements in the poem wishing to answer the following questions: what is isotopic? what are its elements in the poem? and what are the most important aesthetic and semantic values that it discloses?
