Financial inclusion during COVID-19 in Algeria : reality and challenges

Generally speaking, financial inclusion supports all-embracing progress as it is considered as a key enabler for many of the aims of the sustainable development.

arguably, financial inclusion is known by its magical formula that came to mitigate negative economic externalities which caused by COVID-19.

this paper attempts to analyze some selected indicators of financial inclusion in Algeria that were assembled from the global Findex databases ; in order to better understand the sphere of the financial inclusion in the Algerian circumstances.

then, it winds up by offering some recommendations so that boost the Algerian digital system in the way that increase both of financial education and consumer protection.
