لقد بذلت محكمة العدل الدولية جهودا كبيرة لحماية السلم والأمن الدوليين من خلال إصدار الفتاوى، وكذلك من خلال صياغة المبادئ القانونية المعاصرة الملزمة للدول بشأن التسوية السلمية للنزاعات الدولية.
كما أرست مبادئ قانونية جديدة لإزالة الغموض عن أحكام القانون الدولي الإنساني، ومن ثم فسوف أسعى لإلقاء الضوء على جهود محكمة العدل الدولية لإلزام الدول باحترام الشرعية الدولية.
Abstract EN
The international court of justice has made great efforts to protect international peace and security by issuing advisory opinions, as well as by formulating contemporary principles that are binding on states on the peaceful settlement of disputes.
it has also established new legal principles to remove ambiguity from the provisions of international humanitarian law.
hence, i will highlight the new principles of the international court of justice and its efforts to resolve contemporary disputes.
