Abstract EN

Most recent literature on the subject of suicide indicates that the latter is rarely the result of a single event or factor that occurs as a result of a combination of psychosocial biological factors, and that the basis for an effective response to suicide prevention is to identify the risk factors leading to it.

in this spirit, the aim of the present study is to explain the suicide attempt by highlighting the characteristic personality characteristics of the category of suicide-seekers, since the character who commits suicide consists of a combination of qualities that make it enforceable.

a case study shows a young woman who attempted suicide by using a half-oriented clinical interview and applying a list of the five major factors of the personality (Goldberg 1999) show that personality traits play role in the appearance of the suicide attempt.
