Abstract EN

The study deals with claiming to see the prophet Muhammed PBUH whilst awake in life.

The most prominent reasons for this choice are the desire to prove the Prophetic Sunnah and clarify its meanings about this topic.

Whose problem is the sources of Sufis who claim that and question if it is true or only wishes and longings? The article seeks also to answer the previous problem using the critical approach, which is based on quoting the texts and sayings of the Sufis who pretend that they saw the ProphetPBUH awake in the lifeand the Prophetic hadith on which they relied.

The study criticizes and discusses the texts and sayings under the following themes: The claim that the Sufis saw the prophet PBUH whilst awake in life - their arguments - the response to such allegations - then the results of the research.

The paper concluded that this claim contradicts Quranic verses and Prophetic Hadiths related to this topic.
