Our research aims to define specialized language, its relationship with translation and the specialized text as it’s important to transfer the meaning of specialized texts in translation.

The scientific and cognitive explosion of the twenty-first century has played a crucial role in the emergence of the so-called specialized language, as different sciences require a language of their own that distinguishes them with their specific terms and concepts from other sciences.

It was difficult to define exactly specialized language because there is not an agreement on a single term.

While some say a specialized language, others call it a technical language or also a technical scientific language.

It's a specialized language given the field of translation, and that's what we study here.

We first define specialized language with different theorists and its role in specialized translation.

Then we look at the specialized translation’ need of this kind of language, the mutual influence between language and translation, and the necessity of acquiring terminology of specialized fields such as medicine, engineering, law, etc.

we turn after that to the term and its importance in the specialized translation.

Specialized language is the basis for specialized translation, because it provides it with tools and terms that enable it to convey the content of specialized texts and that the specialist translator communicates to a specialized reader
