The image of Algeria in the Ottoman period or after it was not very clear, with the information provided by Arab and Turkish sources, and we do not exaggerate if we say that it was rare and of little importance in the eyes of researchers, especially Europeans, and this research and scientific curiosity served with the intention or otherwise of historical studies about our country, and these Efforts to accept and appreciate researchers, because they provided an important historical material drawn by Europeans, whether they are travelers, consuls, clerics, some nobles, soldiers or prisoners, and whatever these categories are, the aim of this research paper is to provide a descriptive and analytical reading showing the importance and role of these European exploratory trips And the various contributions of their owners, especially the German trips from them, because of what was known about them from serious and scientifically credible writings.
