The pragmatic approach is a term emerged in the linguistic field recently whose purpose is the attempt to link between Arab heritage thought, and the modern pragmatic approach in order to identify common concepts to achieve the principle of linguistic acculturation and cognitive reconciliation.

there fore, the work focused on examining the ideas of rhetoricians and grammarians, taking from the works of al-Jahiz and Sibawayh as a way to determine the extent to which the ancient Arab heritage thought and the pragmatic approach were consistent, starting from the fact that their ideas dealt with the contextual reality of a language bearing the intentionality of the speaker and the interpretation of the listener or his intuition.

but striving to invest positive ideas and scientific facts inherited from the earliest and subject to contexts known by ancient Arabic linguistic research.

however, they were not invested in the modern Arabic linguistic lesson, except by looking at what is equivalent in the western ones.

thus, these approaches were the foundation for the modern Arabic linguistic lesson stemming from an ancient linguistic cultural heritage.

as they are a means to achieve a goal, not an end to justify weakness.
