This study aims to clarify the effects of the corona virus and highlight its most important repercussions in the short, medium and long term, and the paralysis it caused to the movement of the global economy, due to the complete cessation of economic activities, so that all economic institutions became economically ineffective; the total ban imposed by governments in order to limit the spread of the virus played a role in this; where this study monitored its negative effects on global tourism and the resulting losses in jobs in the field of tourism for the year 2020, with the loss of 62 million jobs and a decrease in the GDP contribution of 5.30%.
