Abstract EN

Since 1970, companies have dealt with work ethics in different ways through setting codes of conduct, preparing and publishing financial statements, as well as training programs, etc.

however, the events that took place in the past few years in the united states of America and European countries did not prevent major companies from engaging in unethical behaviors that have led to scandals with these companies.

all this led to an increase in pressure on American companies in order to find programs for good governance that are more organized than those used before, in order to rebuild trust between all parties to the institution.

the methodology used in the study is the descriptive and analytical approach in order to understand the aspects of the subject.

as for the results reached, the study showed that social responsibility is no longer a charitable act only, but has become a strategy relied upon and adopted by many institutions because it achieves the interest of many parties who have a relationship with it.
