Abstract EN

This research paper aims to define the concepts related to the energy transition, with reference to the possibilities available to Algeria of renewable energies, in light of an institutional situation that supports the energy security policy that promotes everything that is green, and for this purpose a standard study was conducted using the ARDL method.

for the period from 1982 to 2018, the study concluded that there is a long-term equilibrium relationship between energy uses and carbon dioxide emissions, on the other hand, no effect was shown for the rest of the variables on per capita GDP, trade openness and renewable energies from the total energy.
